I'm glad this tutorial is useful ^^ I may redo it in the future (when I'm not being a lazybum). As for extracting custom textures and patterns - I'm not entirely sure, but I think CTU (http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Sims%203:CTU%20Guide) might be able to do that. I haven't used CTU (because I'm a moron and illiterate and can't understand a single thing about this program |D), so I'm not entirely sure. Hope this helps - maybe? >.<
